Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some guidelines for folks in the real world interested in achieving the status of "Dramming Your Age":

Question 1:  How long of a time period do you have to Dram Your Age?

Response 1:  DYA is achieved by dramming the amount of your age in any conscious period of time.  Most folks take 12- 18 hours to properly dram their age.

Question 2:  How big do the drams have to  be to qualify for DYA status?

Response 2:  The Drammer is completely responsible for determining the appropriate size of the dram.  However, some PLOWEDsters engage in the practice of "microdramming" for either health, religious or spiritual reasons.  This is perfectly acceptable but these folks routinely achieve DYA status so we do not document their progress on these pages  Call me a bigot - but my definition of a dram is a 20-ml minimum.  Anything greater simply triggers "dram-envy".

Question 3:  Do all the drams have to be different?  Can you count duplicates?

Response 3:  Absolutely!  Lots of times a PLOWEDster will bring the best dram in the house but have to leave early.  These bottles are routinely hammered as the hapless PLOWEDster tries to back out the door.  How could anyone question if a stunning dram were tried twice in a single DYA session?
