Ardbeggeddon II - Saturday January 6, 2001

We began gathering and dramming in Mark K's room at around 2pm in preparation for the "official" start of the tasting.  

Here is the list of my A2 preparation drams:

1.  Ardbeg 1975, (didn't document this...  find bottle for details)
2.  Springbank 100, European Bottling, 57%
3.  Ardmore, 7/65 - 3/84, 46%, Cadenhead's Dumpy Bottle
4.  Islay Malt (vatted), 9 yo, 51.5%, Cadenhead's
5.  Brora, 20 yo, 1975, 59.1%, Rare Malts
6.  Glenfarclas Christmas Malt, 12/24/71-1/20/00, 53.1%, Casks 5959/5960 (WOW!)
7.  Jura, 3/66-7/84, 18 yo, 46%, Cadenhead's Dumpy Bottle

This brought us up to 4:30 pm and it was time to meet at the bar to convene for the "official" start of A2.  We moved from the bar to the tasting suite around 5 and we were off.

8.  Benromach, 3/66-7/84, 46%, Cadenhead's Dumpy Bottle
9.  Glenrothes, 1972 Limited Release, 43%
This was a much slower transition and it was now 9pm.  I went to eat supper at this point and decided to call it an early night around 10 pm - never made it back to the tasting room that night.  The tasting reportedly went on until ~3 am.
